NEW MUSIC MONDAYS!!!!!

WORLD CRY - LLOYD FT. R.KELLY, KERI HILSON AND K NAAN

R&B Artiste Lloyd is known more for his ballads that talk about love, sex, pain, heartache and such the like....Listening to his new project "KING of HEARTS" he didn't fall short of that, he still gave us an array of love and collaborated with a slew of big name performers like Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Andre 3000, The Game and his YMCMB counterpart Lil Wayne just to name a few...I actually enjoyed it but it was the last song on his album that I loved the most, its called "World Cry" feat. R.Kelly, Keri Hilson and also K Naan. I think it was a beautifully written song and addressed the current situation of the world that we are living in....I'm giving him props for putting this song on his album even though we have seen numerous R&B acts like Mr. Kelly who have put ballads that address certain social distress because it fits and it was done real nice and with a message....

With the slew of natural disasters that have been happening in all the regions of the world, whether it be tsunamis, hurricanes or earthquakes, the world has come together in mourning the loss of lives and though there has been a lot of help worldwide there are still humanitarians and regular citizens like myself who realize that governments are more concerned about protection and the formation of nuclear weapons and that's primarily where most countries money go and governments find so many reasons to tell you why defense is so important..There is no doubt that the world is crying but governments seem more preoccupied with the future than the present, don't get me wrong it should be a priority but we need to take care of the suffering right now..This song addresses a lot of topics like world peace, social stature but also leaves the message that its not too late for us to make a change..The vocalists on this track also made it a listening pleasure, R. Kelly had the beautiful Keri Hilson to compliment him and K Naan added the final touch to make this a great track with Lloyd in my mind. I really love this song for what it stands for and I hope you to, if you haven't bought Lloyd'a album KING of HEARTS and you haven't heard this song as yet, you can download it from the link I posted below...
