POETRY FOR LIFE!!!!!!

LIFE!!!!!

My heart is aching and its not because I only miss my mom
I wake up everyday with goals and aspirations just like everyone
Wanting to conquer the world and achieve so much in life
But by day end's reality sets in and disappointment cuts like a knife
Never wear your problems on your sleeve is the motto my grandma said to live by
But it tends to be so painful just keeping feelings inside, all that's left is to sigh
I keep on wondering to myself, did I set the bar too high?
Did I keep it real with myself or am I just living a lie?
Nothing seems attainable anymore no matter how hard I try
I feel like just giving up on everything because I just can't get a bly
Are you crazy? My conscience is not letting the weak mentality take residence
You better get your ass up and try again, and use patience and obedience
Life gets so hard that we tell ourselves we can't do it and its impossible
And without staying strong and focused we get blinded by what's not credible
But we have to put fear aside, take it out our minds and believe in ourselves
Instead of giving up and not doing anything like old bottles on shelves
Boy I told you, life has gotten to me a couple times and you may feel the same
But I'm gonna stand tall, work hard for what I want, so I can say I overcame
Struggles only make us stronger, and being at rockbottom only makes us aim high
Stay focused on what inspires you and soon enough you'll believe you can fly
One thing about life is if you're alive, you
have the oppurtunity to do what you didn't get a chance to yesterday
And even if we are not all Christians, aint nothing like when you kneel down and pray
Some may say this and same may say that is all you need
But let us not all be followers,  let's take initiative, and set examples as we lead

POETRY CORNER - NEVER GIVE UP

NEVER GIVE UP!!!

Its been a while since I've been able to feel inspired
No admonition for the opposite sex for which I desire
Been searching for the one like job hunting so I can be hired
But all I felt was dismay and hurt like when your boss tell you that you're fired
Happiness is so hard to come by but so easy to lose
You think you have it all figured out, but you keep second guessing what you just chose
The only thing we can report is negativity just like the news
So much for trying because all our energy is drain like a broken fuse
But ever so often someone comes along that brings a ray of hope
That gets you feeling high like you just took a sniff of dope
That reconciles your emotions and reassure that you can cope
By letting your guard down to love again without fears of hanging your heart with a rope
That feeling that you feel, that you have never felt before
Will give you confidence to walk blindfolded through an open door
Because you have to surpass pitfalls, obstacles and so much more
To attain the happiness and bliss that you've been longing for
But be wise, keep working hard to maintain your joy because it can quickly end
Don't ever take love for granted because it takes a longer for a broken heart to mend
Its always better for your lover to be your friend
So don't give up on love, even if we've been hurt, the right one is around the bend

POETRY CORNER - CAN'T BELIEVE ITS OVER!!

CANT BELIEVE ITS OVER!!!

I cannot believe what we have is finally over,

Because all I had for you was great joy and splendor,

I treated you like my own nubian princess,

How your lips and your body I loved to caress,

But you did me wrong and it will never be the same,

Baby didn't you know that love isn't a game,

It involves someone submitting all their heart to you,

But I guess you just don't know and you don't even have a clue,

How it feels to believe that your life is finally complete,

Thinking you've found the perfect one to love and to entreat,

But you still wouldn't know because you betrayed our love,

I sure hope you wasn't the one that God sentfor me from above,

How could you disrespect me like I was just any other friend you know,

I feel like I'm suffering from an unconscious blow,

I know I made mistakes like you along the way,

But I asked God to help me stay faithful every night that I'd pray,

I was at a point in life where I would have died for you,

Give up all my possessions just to begin life anew,

But I figured out where we went wrong on our journey together,

It was when we started to act like we were going to last forever.

POETRY TIME - TIME OF YOUR LIFE

TIME OF YOUR LIFE - LOSE CONTROL!!!

I’m gonna call you on the phone tonight saying come over right away

Want you to knock upon my door and greet me with an open trench coat and some lingerie

Don’t wanna think too straight, just wanna to work on impulse and intuition

Want you to enroll me in the class of love and school me in love position

Want you to push me on the floor and give me a lap dance on the dining chairs

Then whisper softly in my ears and tell me you want to ride my stairs

I’m gonna make you lose yourself in my arms until you lose control

I’m gonna give it to you fast and slow, just like a remote control

You telling me to take off the sheets and move the pillows from off the bed

You want me to make your legs bend over from your shoulders to her head

Well, I’m gonna knock you, gonna rock you, until the bed post shake and hit the lamp

You say you want to discover love, so I delivered love like a postman with the stamp

You telling me what to do, telling me what you want, so I’m meeting all your demands

You say you want it soft, you want it rough, and you want some handcuffs on your hands

I’m telling you I want your fingerprints and lip stick stain to cover my entire chest

You telling me you want to delight my taste buds with the sweetness of your breast

So I start to blow out your back and in return you begin to blow my mind

You don’t want it to end; you want me to send this love session into overtime

I’m giving you slow kisses, soft touches and massages on your legs

While you giving me soft kisses, slow touches and running your fingers through my head

I want you to hold me down and caress me while you stimulate my body

So that I can always be ready whenever you need to ride me like a Ducati

I want you to think of me as your love genie so I grant you any wish

We can spoon all night long if you want, and I can rub you down even cleaner than a dish

Whenever it’s time for love, I am physically fit pound for pound

And if its endless love you require I’m here to go round for round
