DON'T GIVE UP THE FIGHT!!!

Sometimes in life we tend to lose our sense of self control

Even though we know that some things we face, over them we have no control

And at times it seems like every road that we take is just full of pot holes

But all I want us to remember is to DON’T GIVE UP THE FIGHT

No matter how much obstacles and failure we may go through in a day

All the pain and discontent we feel that leaves our hearts in dismay

One thing I know for sure, there is definitely a better way

I still want us to remember to just DON’T GIVE UP THE FIGHT

When all your mind can think about is nothing but stress

You can’t even find no sort of peace or even a little happiness

You try all you can, and I mean you try real hard and you can’t do your best

You have to remain strong and still DON’T GIVE UP THE FIGHT

You get up every day and go to work and get pay for your skills

When you start to add up the money, you realize that you still can’t pay bills

Your cable and phone get cut off because you have to feed your kids

Don’t ever get down on yourself and remember DON’T GIVE UP THE FIGHT

A lot of times I've sit down and to myself I start to wonder

My hands on my jaw looking melancholy, reminiscing and start to ponder

Why life is so hard, til it feels like I'm suffering from a tumor

Then I have to remind myself to overcome, I can’t be weak, I gotta be stronger

The life that we live, its full of pain and its full of anger

People dying young from gunshots and a lot from even cancer

The world needs more love because we are suffering from a fracture

And all we are left to do is look up to the sky just to try find a better answer

A popular phrase says when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade

But remember no matter what life gives you, take it but remember DON’T GIVE UP THE FIGHT
