“GOODBYE”
Late night phone calls ringing through my head
My mind is so tired but I’m tossing in my bed
I hit the ignore button, when I see its who
Can’t believe they calling me when I said I’m through
Used to love so hard but it seems it was me alone
Tried to make it work but when I called no one picked up the
phone
Thought it was just growing pains, oh boy was I so wrong
Now I sit back and think why the hell I waited so long
They say that love is blind, you don’t agree until you start
to realize
The one you care so much about don’t care as much and leaves
your heart paralyze
You got the feeling something wasn’t right but your mind
tells you don’t worry
And then it hits you, man it hits you, now all you hear is I’m
sorry
Everyone is different, so you don’t compare, you trust your
better judgment
Nothing is ever perfect, so you sacrifice and compromise and
you make necessary adjustments
But when you’ve done all you can and the one you love refuse
to continue to try
You’re only human and sometimes the best way to rid the
pain, is just to tell them goodbye
