POETRY #8 - HONEYCOMB!!!!!!!

"HONEYCOMB"

Sweet like a honeycomb that’s just how she appeals to me

Looking at her smiling face, only brings me serenity

Longing to stroke her body with my fingers so tenderly

An angel in my eyes, true definition of what is heavenly

It’s hard to fall in love but when you do, you get excited

Not knowing at first, just living in the moment, no fear of being misguided

You feel on high, on top the sky; feelings not close to be subsided

The one you’re with, your perfect gift, it’s like God listened when you confided

Love is definitely like war, very easy to start but hard to stop

It will have you chasing down your target like a criminal by a cop

Having that earnest and zeal, embodying happiness, you don’t want to stop

Because it rids your soul of negativity, like how a farmer weeds out bad crops

A relationship is like a rose, how long it lasts, no one knows

Love can erase an awful past like rerecording over old shows

So when you find that special one, don’t you ever let them go

Love them, cherish them, stick together and let that love grow
